That would be kinda cool to be the first but there's probably an old bottle head out there that knows all about them with 17 variations and still looking for two rare ones, lol.
Just got a millerhaus famous liniment bottle. Looking into it I found a few of the same bottles but with different names. Now I feel I need one of each, lol. . Anyone know how many different ones there are? The first two pictures are of the one I have.
It may have had a label but I think the lid is what had the brand on it. And I always thought it was probably 7up or some kind of ginger ale. Be nice to find one with some kind of Id on it. Who knows, it could even be mountain dew or just soda water.
To me it screams 1976 bicentennial. Lots of bottles, flasks, coins, shot classes, stamps, metals, documents, statues, and everything was made to celebrate the time. The list of 1976 bicentennial items is long, but unfortunately the price for most of those items is low.. . Took me a year to...
Thanks for the information. The neck seam and bottle seam not matching up is the main reason I thought it would be older, not used to seeing modern bottles made that way. Thanks again for the help!
You could be correct. And I agree not mouth blown. But there are bubbles in the glass. And the neck seam and the bottle seam don't match up, which they should be just one mold line if a modern piece. . But I could be completely wrong, still learning here. . I only know enough to be dangerous...
Hello, anyone have any information on this one? It's dark teal color, blown glass, octagon shaped and 9" tall with no other marks. . I'm thinking a beauty product like perfume, or not likely but, possibly poison. . All thoughts welcome!
