I think when you reduced the size of the photo, the quality of the image deteriorated. Have you used MSPaint? The "Resize" function allows you to enter the percentage by which you want to reduce the size of the image (e.g. 50%). If the file is still too large after using resize, just reduce it a bit more (must be less than 200 kb to post here). When you resize by percentage, the file size decreases but the image quality doesn't deteriorate.

I had finally figured out how to reduce the pixels of every shot I took with the camera. Rather than big fine shot of 1024 x, I moved it down to 680 x...something teckie. Once i did that, this site never had a problem with photos being too big.
I found that I apparently didn't need that mant pixels in other applications as well.

So, mine was an in camera adjustment rather than a post photo adjustment...

Thanks everyone, I do have ms paint and will try that untill my 16 year old gets home--he can fique out the camera pic size.
