WhiteLighting,
Dave E. gave a value on another post,I believe? Nice bottle but as as Rich-Lobeycat says the pictures aren't really clear enough for tired eyes, (mine, at least!!) to read,(The embossing!)...And as Woody observed, that IS a smooth-base,it's not a pontil.

Cool Bottle,BUT as Lobey says too much work![;)]

I cant find the post......lol,but sorry guys I might scew my words up when i say pontil SB,etc etc...........

But neverless a very very cool bottle, also dug from a very early B dump which my cousion had access to,now i own part of his collection, and I just tumbled the Wilsons,...
The base is not a total smooth base, but from the edges of thebase it goes in abobut 2 inches deep,...
ill get a better pic since i took them at 2 or 3 am,kinda shakey...........

but if anyone need to record it for thier archives feel free, and if dementions and imperfections on the bottle are needed also I will give details...........to bad it has a few chips around the base......

NOW if you want check out Bott and more auctions for a DR. KOCH's bottle that was dug from the same spot, now thats a one of a kind!!!!!!!!!!!,so better take a look and see a real strange one of a kind!.........

I assume its a Dr WILSON'S MAGNETIC OINTMENT.
last one i saw sell went for $15.00 on ebay.
I'd rate it as moderately scarce. A nice 1870s bottle.
