Early American Pressed glass is quite old ,a lot of times quite rare, with the the majority occurring between 1825 and 1850. Some very beautiful, intricate and Historic patterns consisting of Masonic,Political Figures,Sun Bursts and pretty flower and scroll patterns adorn a lot of these items . They are as important as marbles, pot lids and other non bottle items that exist in this forum. Plus no where does a forum for this very collectable glass exist on line. I will start with Lacy Salts in my collection All of the following were made at the Boston and Sandwich Glass Company between 1825 and 1835. The first one is known as a Chariot. This one is in a very rare color Opaque Blue. [attachment=P1120662 (Large).JPG] [attachment=P1120669 (Large).JPG] [attachment=P1120661 (Large).JPG]
