Hi,
This is one of the bottles I have the most trouble with. These are Australian bottles that were given to me. I have three of the same type, two dated 1918 and one 1921 (dates engraved in the glass). I assume they're beer bottles.
The problem, in fact, is to understand how they were made: some clues suggest that they were machine-made, but the mould marks on the neck don't match and suggest a tooled finishing, and therefore a blown bottle (see photo in attachment). I can send you photos if you need them.
Have you had similar cases?
Thanks for your help and for sharing.
