Just added my 30TH quart hutch, unlisted in hutchbook so it was a no brainer, the only thing holding me back was the high shipping cost from Western Canada. I would love to know the story of how it traveled so far...

E, they actually used a Hucthinson closure on that style finish?

Yes they did, on his quarts he used this style lip and regular hutchinson lips, but there has never been a small Swinley hutch found with a regular lip, they are all this citrate style...

Thanks for the clarification , there are no known quarts from my area. I guess if the gasket was able to seat or seal at neck it worked fine . Nice addition , I really like this type of conversation.

Dang, they keep rolling in. I like the different lip on the bottle. Are there any amber or other colored Patterson hutches.
I was in Mansfield, Ohio last month at an antique shop and saw a massive jug, like five gallons, from Patterson, NJ. Did not have the presence of mind to take a picture for you. As I recall it also had a massive price.

Congrats on the new glass. I almost bought one of the smaller ones but the guy wanted too much for it.
