1/4 inch chip off of an unembossed pannel edge.

Embossed Wm. GLASSMIER'S / (bust of woman) / HAIR / AND / TOILET LOTION,
Clear, Smooth Base, 7 1/4â€H x 2 1/2â€W, BIM, Tooled Lip,
American Circa 1870s, Condition is dug with overall staining. And there is a
shallow 3/8 inch top of lip flake and a 3/4 inch crack in the lip.
This is a very scarce hair bottle that is not often seen.

GUFFROY'S - DR. AGEES - COD LIVER / EXTRACT

That is actually Guffroy's Dragees. A dragee is a french word for a small candy coated medicinal pill.
They sold the medicine wholesale out of New York. maybe imported from france?
