found this one today. Made in England. “Buchanans black and white whisky” embossed. I found some good information on it giving a date between 1902 and 1919. It’s BIM into a 3 piece mold, from what I can tell. You can barely see the vertical seams and the horizontal seam is very distinct, just below the embossing. It also has an applied finish. The bottle will be dark green when I get it cleaned up.

I love that crude embossing and gloppy applied lip! Always funny seeing bottles like this and finding out they're from the 20th century. Strange how different the glassmaking techniques were on each side of the Atlantic.

Right? I’m glad I know better than to think I have really old bottles here. That bottle was 1 foot away from a Heinz #23 bottle I just found made between 1880 and 1900. Which looks decades newer than the whiskey bottle.
