I finally took the leap and acquired a few bucket listers ! 5 OZ. base embossed Carter's Cathedral ink well and a Josiah Jonson's Writing fluid Londan , Japan stoneware tea kettle ink. My first tea kettle ink.

Those are so cool! I don't think I've seen a cathedral inkwell before, and definitely haven't seen that embossed stoneware teakettle before either. I had no idea that anything like that existed.

Nice additions. The teakettle ink is listed as rare in Joe Mathews book on teakettle inks.

You see the Jonsons around but I don't think I've ever seen one in that nice a condition. They're usually pretty beat up.

The carters is the smallest of the set of cobalt cathedrals. Usually the hardest one to find as well.
