It looks almost like it says
Roy Kendorf.
It could be Heudorf, Heudrof, Hendrof, Hendorf, Keudrof, Kendrof, Kendorf, Keudorf etc...

Thanks!

Wow, that's got to be some of the most confusing cursive I've ever seen on a bottle. For some inexplicable reason they alternated between upper case and lower case letters pretty much at random, and were totally inconsistent in the letter sizing. Maybe a mold-cutter trying to copy a nearly-illegible signature? I did figure it out though, through the use of old NYC directories - Peter Hoykendorf, listed in the 1881 directory as operating at 1st Ave. & E. 50th St. https://archive.org/details/phillipsbusiness00newy/page/188/mode/2up In 1900 he leased a store at 636 Park avenue: https://rerecord.library.columbia.edu/pdf_files/ldpd_7031148_025_13.pdf That store didn't last long though, because he died on March 12, 1901: https://archive.org/details/deathsreportedin1901newy/page/156/mode/2up?q=hoykendorf

Great job, Canadian! Must be the way he signed his name, and wanted the embossing to match. Couldn't have been good for advertising his business, though!
