So im sure by now my yard before the house ws built was some sort of dumping ground for bottles ha. Pretty sure its not worth anything but this is a Hunt Glass Ketchup bottle probably not that old but if anyone knows anything about it i'd be grateful !

Yep, that's a ketchup.. looks like you found a household dump from the 1940's, back before they came around with the garbage trucks.. there could be older stuff thrown in there so keep digging, and keep learning!

Made by Glass Containers Inc, the 53 to the right of the GC mark is most likely for 1953(if that's the muber, it's upside down on my computer), not much in the way of value unless it had a label, but you may find some good stuff in that dump. Milks and sodas being the most likely candidates for $$$...

Welcome to the site. Bunch of nice people here.

Great way to start digging is the find it in your own yard. Try to see if there are any items below where you found that bottle. Folks often times like to throw bottles etc near rivers. Hope ya find more items. And enjoy the hobby.
