Chero Cola

Here's one my Cheros with original label. What makes it more interesting is it's another bottle with a typo. 'Decature, AL' instead of 'Decatur, AL'.

That's interesting, Jerry. The only Chero Cola bottle that I have ever seen from my area also has a botched spelling. The bottle is embossed LEWISTON, PA, and no such town ever existed. It should be LEWISTOWN. I have never been able to figure out who the Chero bottler was here, and have never seen any other local Chero Cola bottles. ~Jim

I've always found it amazing that so many bottles have misspelled towns and backwards letters. Some of the Georgia Chero Colas that the towns are misspelled:

Donalsonville, Ga. (Donaldsonville and Donelsonville)
Gainesville, Ga. (Gainsville)
Vidalia, Ga. (Vidallia)
