If you live in a 1830's House, did you look for your Privy?
This is another one local to you, from Waterville ME.View attachment 257667
Beautiful clear med bottle; I believe it says "S.S. Lightbody Co.", but I can not find anything related to it.
Not yet - a digging probe is the next on my list of bottle-digging related purchases, though I have found several broken tops (mostly turn of the 20th century meds) and definitely older glass shards on the property before. If you live in a 1830's House, did you look for your Privy?
Nice find! I'm amazed that the Press Herald article didn't come up in my search. That bottle is a particularly nice one for the time period and style, with really crisp lines on both the embossing and the bottle, crazy that it was technically a local med. This is another one local to you, from Waterville ME.
