Crude citron whiskey

I brought this home yesterday from an estate sale and I’m perplexed and hope you fellow collectors can give some opinions. The giant seam is symmetrical looping from the main body, through the shoulder, and back into the body again. (Imagine it 1/2 full then tilting it at an angle, the weird seam would be the "water line" that you would see.) It has heavy whittling and the star looking defects everywhere on the one side of the looped seem, while the other side of the loop is relatively void of defects. Are these “defects” real or intentional and is that truly a looping seam? I’m stumped but love the color and crudeness on what I think is a made in Europe bottle.

Definitely a candidate for the X files.
Maybe the person who blew this example had to pause or sneeze and took a breath before continuing the process?
I've never seen such an example before.
