Sure, i can part with one of the ones without a lid on it.I'd like to acquire an example of the RHIENGOLD bottle if you are willing to part with one.
I initially found my first “chug a mug” bottles a couple winters ago, very intrigued by the design so Before becoming a member here i did a bit of research about the rhien gold company. It was a pretty popular beer at one point. Very cool bottle in my opinion!Originally Rheingold was from New York, but I think by the time the Chug-A-Mug" bottle was used, it had a listing in New Jersey and yours may be embossed around the lower edge of the bottle from there. That would also explain the Virginia caps. Pretty common bottles but still cool to find them in the wild. I live closer to "Duke" country and have found dozens of the embossed Duke bottles in several locations around my area.View attachment 246641View attachment 246642
I just checked these bottles all originated from Orange, NJ. With the number 68 on the bottom. Presuming thats the year .Originally Rheingold was from New York, but I think by the time the Chug-A-Mug" bottle was used, it had a listing in New Jersey and yours may be embossed around the lower edge of the bottle from there.
