I am looking for ANYTHING from the J PABST & SONS CO OUT OF HAMILTON, OH
I am attempting to make a collection to present to my husband, (Gregory W Pabst) grandson of Warren J Pabst which was the last owner of the bottling Co along with his twin brother Robert Pabst. Greg and his sister are the only two living relatives with the exception of our five children and her one child. Long story short...she has all the bottles, advertisements, caps, labels, etc and I would like to have a collection for our family. I have only collected 2 bottles at this point. One painted with red and cream and One Seltzer Water Bottle. We live in Missouri, so finding bottles around here is next to impossible! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE help us in our journey!! No matter what it is a story, information, tangible items, whatever...we are interested. This has been very fun. My kids have been helping in this quest to surprise their dad!!!

THANK YOU FOR READING THIS AND FOR ANYTHING YOU MAY HAVE TO OFFER OR TO SELL!

J PABST & SONS CO BOTTLED:

their own carbonated drinks:
Imperial Ginger Ale
Grape Soda
Orange Soda
Cream Soda
Lemon Soda or Lemon Royal
Sarsaparilla
Cherry
Champagne Mist
Seltzer Water
J Pabst & Sons also bottled the following in Hamilton Ohio:
Pepsi
Dr. Pepper
Sher-A-Coca
Afri-Kola

There very well may be others that I am unaware of. I have learned of the last two on this list from members here!
THANK YOU

This add was put out in 2012... I think it's done...
I am not done, just absent with the craze of life for a while. I am still on the hunt for all things Pabst from Hamilton! I hope I have not offended anyone by not answering. I apologize if I have. It was not my intention.

Reading your post, I remembered one I recently picked up in a lot of old soda bottles. I think it is the same as the one you have but figured you would appreciate the pictures!

Hi Jpabst, I came across a couple green bottles of J Pabst and Sons Co. Hamilton OH. One of them bares the mark of Owens-Illinois bottle manufacturer with a date of 1931and it was made to almost the exact specifications of the other bottle which I believe to be an earlier piece. It does not bare an Owens-Illinois mark and only shows an N27 leading me to believe it’s 1927. This particular bottle has slightly fatter embossed lettering and just a few other not so noticeable details making it clearly from a different manufacturer and it’s interesting that when Owens Illinois took over the manufacturing of the bottle that they made the firsts ones as identical in design as the earlier bottle that was already in use. I know Owens Illinois merged from two companies in 1929 and started producing bottles under the merged company’s in and around 1930. With a single digit date code representing the 30s. With 1 being 1931 and so on, until the 1940s in which the would put a period after the single digit such as 4. Being 1944 and around 1946 they realized that would become in issue in the decades to come they switched to a 2 digit date code. And the date is the digit to the right of the makers mark. Which of course is an “I” inside an “O” inside a Diamond. So these are two very significant bottles one being the start of the Owens-Illinois era and the earlier being J Pabst And Sons example before O-I took over production. And if you don’t know you would think they are the same. My brother went bottle hunting for several years and has a massive collection that’s sat untouched for years and tasked me to start listing them on eBay. Upon looking up these bottles your post came up though it looks to be a few years old if your still interested in theses pieces you can reply or email me at bakermarcus50@yahoo.com. Below I’ll attach some images
