I have these two Japan bottles That are both 6" tall, but have different body shapes(Ive got pics) They are yellow, but from the base for about an inch it is clear glass. The seam stops at the shoulder, than about half an inch to the sidestarts again and goes all the way to the lip. The bottoms both say "Japan" but the circle on says H1 and the other weird shape one says H2. Also, the circle on has a symbol that looks like F and backwards F put together with CO under the two prongs comming out from the side of them.

These are modern bottles, 1960's perhaps, and like the "inks" you showed us, were made for decoration. "Japan" on the base is never a good sign when looking for antique bottles!
