Cleaning river bottles. Muric acid works the best ,but you must be EXTREMELY careful when using it.
1 put 1/4 inch CLR in put rock salt in. Cork it and shake. Doing it slowly, seems to work better. Use a brush to get the big algae off the outside. Wrap the outside with paper towels, soak with CLR. Put it in a plastic bag overnight, BAM it sucks the algae off. I reuse the paper towels to do another one.

I've used this on ACL's the same day I took them out of the water. I'm not recommending that. It works, but wait the 30-days for it to dry. Obviously practice makes perfect. Don't start with your prize bottle.
