Hello everyone recently while hunting around the river banks at lowtide in Newmarket NH I came across this bottle top and neck which looks fairly older than anything I’ve found before I was wondering if anybody could point me to what it might have belonged to. It’s black glass with a very uneven applied lip with a crooked neck about 3 inches long to the shoulder. I think it might be 1820s maybe? also had the original cork which is neat. Town dates back to 1727 and was a center for shipping for a long period of time.

My best guess would be English black glass porter bottle.
