need help with this bottle

I found this bottle yesterday while diving. It is dark green glass about 9.5 inches tall and 2 5/8 inches wide at the base. The crown seem to be applied as their is no apparent seem on the bottle and the crown is not uniform all the way around the top. You can also see / feel horizontal bands around body of the bottle

Capsoda, I respectfully disagree with you on dating this one...The crown top wasn't patented until 1898 . Hand applied or tooled crown tops were around during the 1898- 1915 era. After that , machine made crown tops were perfectly uniform and have the seams going all around or into the neck opening. I agree that it is a champagne or wine bottle.
