Question about Koca Nola and Nova Kola

I was wondering if anyone knows what the "Nola" and "Nova" means in each of the soda names. Couldn't find any thing about how the names came about just curious if anyone knows? As far as "Nola" when I first started getting into bottles I thought it meant New Orleans Louisana but he started in Atlanta so that wasnt it.

Nova is latin for NEW

Nola is just a name play on Cola as far I remember

perhaps No Cocaine...Dopeless as advertised. "KOCA - NO' la

Ahh ok yea makes sense. And yea I could see the No in Nola probably meaning that, thanks for the reply, very helpful
