I've been challenged to find better labels for my bottles. Tumbling has
become the go to for glass. But what about labels that are not only rare
and sometimes only appear in photos of even rarer bottles? What if none
exist except in adverts or go withs. I solved the problem many years ago.
I took images of museum labels and used their own skins to recreate a
restoration. They aren't meant to fool anyone, but sure look nice on the
mantle place back at home.
I am currently working on a restoration for a friend. Not much to go on. An old fountain glass
and a very rough label.
After about an hour of relaxing cut and pastes, I'm getting there, in a minute, I'm almost done.
