yesterday i also came across an old cook book from Almonte Ontario in a bunch of free books that had been donated for people to re use. its in pretty rough shape but noticed it had some of those old local advertisments in it . and rate away on the second page saw this one for an old dairy

The Producers Dairy Limited

don't know much about it and haven't seen any bottles but its listed as operating from 1954-64 . Almonte is fairly small now so don't imagine it was very big back then . i've been there before cause it had a couple antique stores downtown . but haven't been there since 2019

almonte is a long way from where i live so not sure how an old cook book from a church ended up here ?

I wonder if it has any connection to the Producers Dairy in Ottawa. It was a very common name for farmer-owned co-op dairies to use though, so could easily be a totally separate company.

yes the book i have says it was a branch of Ottawa , so the Ottawa dairy would of been the main one and Almonte a smaller branch as it was a smaller town back then .
