I have a unique Wheaton bottle and am wondering if it might be considered “special”. Any and all info appreciated. See if you can spot the rare feature.
I don't know how wheaton went about manufacturing these repros, but I would guess that somehow too much glass went into the mold and that's the result.
A BEAUTIFUL EMERALD GREEN. IT IS 7-1/2 TALL. 2 ACROSS THE SIDES AND 4-1/4 WIDE. HAS A HORSE HEAD WITH THE WORDS HORSE SHOE BITTERS AND 5 STARS ON THE FRONT. OTHER SIDE HAS HORSE SHOE MEDICINE CO. C
almost looks like what is known as a birds swing where the molten glass is drawn to both sides of the mold. A member who has passed on ( Red Matthews ) had described the process in several posts. makes it a bit more interesting than the normal repo.
