12 sided Unbrella INK.

I don't know anythink about Inks, But I think this is what they call a 12 sided Umbrella ink. I did not see any name or any other markings on it. Is this thing worth anything? Common or rare? Thought I heard the 12 sided tougher then a more common 8 sided, is this true? LEON.

the size looks uncommon to me, if it isn't pontilled , then its close.I believe given the size and tallness ,its a hard one to find , and worth a pretty penny.

No pontil but has a globby drippy applied top. Size is 2 5/8" x 2 1/4". Just a little over 2 1/2" tall. Is this a oddball size or common for this? Was found in a dump that had blob tops, hutches & ABM bottles. I'd guess 1900-1910 time frame? LEON.

The ink looks 1860ish to me.

inks cud have been haled onto for years. and yes this is an odd ball size.

What would be the average normal size for this type of ink? Just wondering if it's odd because it's small or because it's big? LEON.

Searched ebay for sided umbrella Inks. Out of 26 sided Inks, 1 was 12 sided, 1 was 10 sided & 24 were 8 sided. Only 1 in completed auctions too. Looks like the 12 sided is much tougher. LEON.
