Added bottom embossing label

I was wondering when and why companies added their label over another one? Any information on this bottle age would be helpful. It is La Choy embossed label added.

I'm not totally sure what you mean "added their label over another one", I think you're referring to the suction scar on the base though? There was never any other embossing below that, it's a mark left by the machine which made the bottle. I don't know enough about the internal workings of bottle-making machines to explain why exactly that scar is there, but almost all machine-made bottles have one (although the newer ones will be very subtle).
