Found an alloa glass works bottle. They are out of Scotland. I’m starting to think it is somewhat rare. It’s machine made. A.G.W 99-10 embossed on the bottom and an Owen’s scar. I searched eBay and there are none for sale there. I searched this site and only the really old bottles seem to be talked about.

Just curious-why do you think this is Alloa rather than the second American Glass Works (Virginia & West Virginia)?

I'm thinking probably American Glass Works for this one, it doesn't have a very Scottish look to it. I can't ever remember seeing a UK beer bottle in this distinctively North American shape. Periods vs no periods is the sort of thing which may have changed over time, depending on the year and the mold used.
