I dug this bottle 30 years ago and have always loved the color and art deco arched ribs at the tip and around the base. Guessing it's probably 30's-40's, so it's not that old, and not embossed, but is extremely handsome. It's obviously machine made. First thought was maybe a Milk of Magnesia bottle, but I've never seen a photo of it's twin. I'm sure it probably had an arched label on the front panel originally. I would appreciate any information you may have on age or contents.

Great colour. It was made by Hazel Atlas. The top number is a catalog number and the bottom number is a mould number. Unfortunately I don't think Hazel Atlas used any date codes.

I'd guess something toiletry-related rather than medical, that art deco design tended to be used for cosmetics/toiletries and household products rather than medicine bottles. I'm thinking something along the lines of this:
