Best product for cleaning ACL bottles ?

What is the best thing/way to clean ACL bottles?
I hear that BFK isn’t supposed to be used on painted surfaces. I assume pure oxalic acid diluted with water would work. Just wanting to know other people’s input

I use a bottle cleaning brush, it's about 1 foot tall and expands when its in the bottle it works pretty good, however, it doesn't take away the oxidation.

I have a few ACL bottles that have really bad stains to include a tar-like substance. Is it safe to use a degreaser or muriatic acid to clean them? Any other suggestions?
