I'm ecstatic right now. I just need to tell someone else and write away my over excitement!
I was planting some apple bananas in the yard and my Dad noticed a bit of glass popped out. Usually it's modern crap but today it was black glass. I live in an area that did NOT see significant settlement until the 1900s. Even up until around 1930 the amount of residences or even farms in the area was incredibly sparse.
This is very significant to me. To my knowledge nobody has found anything this old over here. I dug some depression era stuff up the valley but nothing beyond the 1920s. I hope it's not a one off and I can find more!
