Coca Cola Soda Water with original top

I have always heard and been taught by older collectors that The Coca Cola Soda water bottles contained a flavor Grape Orange etc. I can now say for sure they did. Friday workers were tearing down a local 1900 era house when this was found behind the wall . It is a Coca Cola soda water with almost all original contents(some has seaped through small hole in cap) and the original cap. I always wondered what the caps that went on these looked like puzzle sloved it has a little boys face at top it is gray with purple center and says better immatiation grape soda. I would gues the orange etc would be in line with this. The bottle is from Clarksville Tenn. Thought some of you would find this as good info.

Close up of cap. Note the color has left the original drink but it still smells grape like.

Hello Digger, thanks for the post, I have wondered what those caps looked like for years myself ! I have jars full of caps, but do not remember any of them looking like that. Will try and remember it though. Thanks again, Lou
