Sorry I don't see that. Look at the Serial numbers, they are very close to each other, indicating they were both filed at the same time and in the same location - the US. They were both filed the same day, but were not registered the same day - Kik was Sept 22, 1936 and Kik Kola was Oct 6, 1936If you review that post, you will see that the US trademark was registered on the same day, under SCOTCH PRODUCTS NY...and the Canadian Label was registered by AMERICA DRY GINGER ALE COMPANY, in Montreal, not America Dry Company of Canada.
In order to register a trademark in the US you must prove that the product was sold
internationally. Canada was convenient and many US corporations filed statements of
use including Coca-Cola, Pepsi-Cola and Celery-Cola.

The reference to Montreal is referring to where that office of America Dry was located, not where the trademark was registered. Trademark applications were not filed in Montreal, and a US trademark registration would not be filed in Canada.... The use of America Dry Ginger Ale Company vs America Dry Company of Canada Ltd was probably just for ease of filing as a Limited Canadian company couldn't file a US trademark.
