Went back to the site of the sunken saloon and found two more old bottles in the mud nearby.
This is a Henry Haffen beer bottle. The Haffen family consisted of a father and four brothers who would create a very big brewery on 152nd street.

Fresh from the mud.

Second bottle was a Wendling & Berger from New Rochelle:

I also found this rusty old steam boiler, maybe it's from a sunken steam ship that beached in the area back in the day, or some piece of machinery associated with the saloon, maybe a steam engine was used here for something.

Here's a picture of Henry Haffen, he's in the white shirt with the suspenders in the middle. He served the Union in the Civil War.

I couldn't find any advertisements from Henry's short lived brewery but here is one put out by his two brothers, note the pre-dreadnought battleship shining a spotlight on a pair of sirens... they're luring the sailors with some Haffen beer, maybe to their doom.
