Help!!! I found this wonderful old jar it has the markings of FCG Co and a large W on bottom..

Hello really hoping someone can help me identify and get an idea of the value of this jar I e never seen one quite like it. Beautiful color looks really old has a glass top I believe is the original top also, lots of imperfections and bubbles in the glass has initials FCG. CO and a large W in the middle

Hi, this is a wax seal fruit jar. Probably from the 1880s I would guess. I believe it was manufactured by the Falls City Glass Company (FCG Co.) of Louisville Kentucky. They were in business from 1884-1892 and this website shows a jar very similar to yours. I think this is a positive match.

The guy Dave who runs one of the bottle sites was looking for d as my examples of this bottle mfg, not too long ago.
