This is true upon further inspection, but the only thing to figure out this mess is a labeled one, it was dug a town over from New London. I have known of instances where medicine was prepared by someone in a completely different state and then the bottles say different. One example is the pontilled Selden's Wigwam Linement bottles which say N.Y. on them, but in reality the medicine was prepared in East Haddam CT by Mr. Selden (large family name in that town) and the labels for his medicines say his name and East Haddam CT. Those bottles are therefore a CT bottle technically. Are there ads for the cure with other druggists?Make sure you don't confuse "sold by" with who the actual proprietor of the medicine was. The proprietor of this medicine was Dr. Louis C. Turner of St. Louis, Missouri. He distributed it to many pharmacies throughout the country for them to sell and you can see advertisements in many newspapers for this medicine being sold by dozens of druggists across the country, including the one you cite in New London.
