Has anyone seen the crown tops on Ebay by a seller named
skychaser12? Got some nice embossed ones with contents as well as ACL too.
I dun collect crown tops, thought it may help others. Reasonable priced? Good feedback!

That seller is just refilling and recapping the bottles themselves (or selling bottles recapped by someone else, maybe). Looks like they're adding fake paper labels too, this 7Up doesn't look legit at all to me. Looks like it was printed on a home printer and then stained with tea: https://www.ebay.com/itm/2965359651...95ZXAH&hash=item450aebbdae:g:jhkAAOSwwvFmgKSZ

This is the first time I've ever seen someone recap a screw-cap, but you can see that the tamper-proof metal tabs around the edge were broken and then pushed back into place: https://www.ebay.com/itm/2965359402...NHF0F1&hash=item450aeb5c76:g:pKAAAOSwai1mgKFS

For some of them they aren't even trying - this is clearly a mineral water bottle, with a black cherry soda cap. I bet if you opened it up it would just be dyed water. https://www.ebay.com/itm/2962512113...83ANDM&hash=item44f9f2be26:g:EDgAAOSwRMxkk0jv

This one has a cap flavour that matches the ACL, but the cap is from a totally different company in a different state: https://www.ebay.com/itm/2959580518...3QD9P7&hash=item44e8797c1f:g:43gAAOSwE3hku0HF

Note that many of their bottles which weren't major brands have the exact same generic root beer cap on them.

I think a couple of the newer ones might be legit, they have realistic levels of rust on the cap, but only a few.

There are a few interesting ones there regardless of the recapping though. This paper label Canada Dry "Low Calorie Artificially Sweetened Sugar Free Ginger Flavor Drink" (what an appetizing name!) seems pretty unusual to me, must be from early on in the diet drink era, and the label is legit (although the cap is for a different product). https://www.ebay.com/itm/2957276087...RQXYDM&hash=item44dabd33db:g:L14AAOSwiR5kaVZe
