I got these two bottles at a estate sale this week.
Wondering if they are the real thing. The scroll is pretty light weight, and to me the ground lip and pontil look legit.
But I also know that these two bottles have been reproduced.
Sorry about the photos, I've never been good at photographing bottles.
I'll want to sell if real, I rarely keep bottles unless I've dug, a gift, or if I won at my old bottle club in Denver.
Any help would be appreciated.

My Drakes has a more defined easier to read wording, yours kinda wider flattened out. besides that they both look real. being common Bottles, they don't get big bucks. Just my opinion, others may vary.

Thanks, good to know.
My doubts were mainly with the bitters, the tooled lip looked a little too well made.
It does have that inside drip though.
Hate asking the question, and I know both are pretty common,
100-150$ for the pair, value-wise?
All my years of digging, I've never purchased any bottles.
I figured these were worth the gamble.
Thanks again, ya just gotta love this hobby!

I think I sold my scroll flask for around $95 at last Bottle show & had $99 on my Drakes but did not sell. I'd say worth a minimum of $150 for both to $200. unless there is something unusual about them making them worth more? just my amateur opinion, I'm no expert other opinions may vary.

Thanks for the replies! Yeah, I figured I'd sell them at about $75 a piece.
Didn't pay a lot, and like I said, I really just like keeping the bottles I've dug.
Bottle digging down here is the pits, (no pun intended), compared to Colorado.
Down here I find them anyway I can.

$75 each a good average fair price in my opinion. I'd buy them if I didn't already have them. Good Luck.

Well for me, any bottles worth $100-$200 are darn good ones!!! I'm from the older generation of bottle diggers (ca. 1970) when most bottles were a LOT less expensive than today!!! $100-$200 is rather expensive to me. Are they "common"? - sure, you can buy them kind of easily, but relatively speaking, considering lots if not most of the stuff seen on this site, NO, they're not that "common" to me. And you don't find that many in most diggings!! They're little treasures you should hold on to, they will go up in price if they're in undug condition!!! Congratulations to YOU!!! Great bottles!!!
