I have finally found a Theo Young blob-top in amber. I have two in aqua, one in light green, and a tooled-crown top variant in amber. I have found maybe three amber Theo Young bottles this year that didn't have tops at all. I figured this elusive bottle had to be out there. Finally.

I'm still in the field writing this, I hadn't planned on a hunt today because it was 92 degrees! But the mud was calling!

In situ, it didn't seem like anything special, but I checked it out anyway. Could barey see it since it blended in with the mud so well. Now for the mile long trek back to the car.

Congrats, there's gotta be a lot more hiding just under the surface of the mud not visible. maybe a little 1 foot probe would help find them? Good luck. Leon.

Yes, I'm sure of it. There seems to be many bottles in this particular spot. I think the density of the bottles was just right for the action of the tides to deposit many in this area and they got buried over time. I probed around in this spot once before and can hear objects under there. Most is more modern glass. The only issue is its just a very difficult area to get to.

Nice find! Now to find an intact example of those Codds you were finding there earlier.
I actually found another broken D. H. Smith Codd a few days ago, the clear variant this time. I think there may be a very old bottle dump in the area, I have to return with a probe and a shovel. This area is near where the old saloon use to be, as well as a number of other small buisnesses, including at least two hotels, there is a garbage pit here, I know it.
