Found these ketchup and what I think is a pickle jar at a bottle dump I found. Should be from the 1930s, though could be anywhere from 20s to 50s. Would like to know the brand and where they were made if possible. Thanks!

I do believe now that the pickle jar is also Heinz because they both have the same symbol on the bottom. The ketchup bottle souls have been full, but it was next to a river and the very top of the cap rusted away. Thought it does still have the seal in it. Overall some pretty cool finds.

The symbol on the bottom of both is the glass manufacturer's mark. The mark is for the Owens-Illinois Glass company and this particular mark (diamond and 'O' with an 'I' inside) was used from 1929 until about 1954. In general, the number to the left of the diamond is the glass manufacturing plant code by city, for instance, a '6' to the left would indicate the plant in Charleston, West Virginia, the number to the right of the diamond is the date code, this one is a single digit code with a dot after, which as 'Step Back in Time' indicated would almost certainly be 1943 as the 1930's codes would not have the dot after the number and in the 1950's would have a 2 digit code such as 51, 52, 53 and so on, the number beneath the diamond is the mold number. I hope this helps.

Yeah great help! Looking further the jar is not Heinz. The dates are pretty interesting as I found them right next to each other. I believe the house was likely destroyed during the floods during hurricane Diane in 1955, as most of the debris has now fallen into a very deep stream that was right next to the house.

I was referring to the H-### marking, only Heinz bottles will have that. The other is that of the glass maker.
