so why pay $100s of bucks for a bottle they won't ship anyway?
And as Uncle Bruce stated, it might not even be real...

take the label image and pop it on an authentic bottle needing a label

Anyone need some Calgary Export Ale from the late 50s?
I now have two I can spare...

BTW my favourite uncle was also called Uncle Bruce. Maybe that's why I like you too.

I just sent my wife and her cousin the following e-mail. I included our wedding
family pics but those are for them. As they are all dead now I can't ask permission.

"I miss Uncle Bruce. He often had more in common with me than my own dad.
He liked a beer when Aunt Marle wasn't looking. He was a great fisherman.
He spoke the plain truth, even if it meant you didn't agree. What a guy!"

"Uncle Ivan being an in law, didn't care who looked. Aunt Shirl would often join him."

"My eldest cousin and his brothers drank beer but weren't as fussy as him. He loved imports."

"Bruce was an Air Force man, and a man after my own heart. Dad was Army. I was going
to be an Air Force pilot like my friends and their dads. Bruce liked Labatt's 50 Ale. Me too.
He would have one with me when Marle wasn't looking. You at least will join me on occasion."

"To honour Bruce I have a corner set up where we once sat. There is an Air
Force cap and Air Force dishes. I tried to find a Labatt's 50 bottle from his era.
There were American Ads and stubby bottles galore but no bottle, so I am
making one authentic to his period. 1960s. "

"Plain straight forward beer, no fancy neck labels in Canada, and long before the stubby."

"I can't wait to sit it (and me) next to the spirit of Uncle Bruce."
