Hard to tell without provenance, I have also collected in S Texas, by San Antonio.

Where did you find this in south Texas? Most of the bottles I’ve found in the San Antonio area I’ve been able to date due to the town they were found in, bodies of water, etc. I have a hunch though, your bottle is from the very early 1900s. It’s very hard to find things older then that down here, and your bottle looks like it’s a BIMAL

Just outside Victoria. These beer bottles are tricky when they are slick. I found an old old Valentin Blatz beer bottle in the same area. That one traveled some distance to get down here.

If you'd like to sell that Blatz I would be interested in it. It's a great bottle.
Possibly, it's a little sandblasted from being in the river tho. What's ur budget for a bottle like this?

The Blatz is an awesome one, older variant too. Victoria was around for the majority of the 19th century and saw a big population influx before places like San Antonio, which didn’t blow up till about 1910.

At a second look with some context, Bruce is probably right, 1870s-80s is my guess. Great age for not being a Galveston or Houston bottle. I wish I would’ve known you were in S Texas before, we could’ve dug together!

Valantine Blatz Brewery was named Valentine Blatz from 1852 to 1889. in 1889 he shortened it to Val. Blatz. Your bottle definitely pre 1889 & maybe even 1870's with that top on it. Like your first Bottle pictured, the top is similar to the 1870's & 80's Conrad Budweiser Bottles.
