Valantine Blatz Brewery was named Valentine Blatz from 1852 to 1889. in 1889 he shortened it to Val. Blatz. Your bottle definitely pre 1889 & maybe even 1870's with that top on it. Like your first Bottle pictured, the top is similar to the 1870's & 80's Conrad Budweiser Bottles.

Hi Bernie19 - it definitely has an applied lip (notice the mold seams do NOT go through the lip), which means it was made prior to 1903. From the style of the lip, I'd say it was made around 1870. You might be able to research the "Y" on the bottom of it. Could be a maker's mark. Nice bottle!!!

I bet it was nice when new. Looks like the river really beat it up. Nice find.
