Southern NY diggers?

Hey, I'm relatively new to digging.
I'm a young-ish (25) guy, and I'd be real glad to shadow any experienced diggers. I definitely know about a dozen places where I dig, so it would be good to have some partners, but I'd like to help someone at a different site for a change.

Looking for diggers in Southern NY, Western CT or Northeastern NJ.
I would travel to Bergen, Morris, Middlesex, Passaic, Union and Essex counties in NJ. NY, Bronx, Kings, Queens, Richmond, Suffolk, Nassau, Orange, Rockland, Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess counties in NY. Fairfield, Litchfield, New Haven and Hartford in CT.
The easiest would be the Bronx, Westchester, Orange (NY) and Essex (NJ).
