We dug a nice round brickliner Downtown Sunday it was about 7 feet deep and 5 across it had a thick trash layer of about 4 feet. lots of nice stuff in this one. (picture is of my share only) But here is a list of everything we found.

1 open pontiled pint Chapman / Balt md soldier dancer flask in aqua
1 smooth base Wm Coughlan / Baltimore green squat
1 C. Hohnberger (misspelled C H Honberger) Grey Salt glaze pottery bottle
1 blue banded mocha bowl
1 Bennett type glaze mug
1 hand painted cup
1 open pontil Geniuine / Essence in aqua
1 open pontiled Lyons For the Hair New York in Aqua
1 cirton green open pontiled utility
several unembossed pontled puffs
1 light green iron pontiled squat soda unembossed
1 olive amber iron pontiled squat soda unembossed
2 different steamer type blob sodas
several marbles and pipes
1 P.BABB / BALTO aqua iron pontiled squat missing the top
1 W. Coughlan Green iron pontiled Squat missing the top
1 baltimore pharmacy bottle
and some other things that i'm probably forgetting.

Hi Chris;
Now that's what I'd say is being on the trail of the killer bottle when you can get that kind of age. Here in California when we get in to a round bricker in my favorite play grounds their usually 16 to 22 feet deep. Last one we dug a few weeks back was 22' deep and all 1890s. To new for what I'm after but we did get a few decent things including a very rare San Francisco Whiskey with an embossed deers head. Here's a pic.

Damn, 8 years for a reply. I wuzn't here then, but both digs deserved better response and some followup close-ups of all those great finds. Thanks Blade, for digging up this thread.

Chris is that lip on the Hohnberger common, it looks really thin compared to any ginger beer I know of?
