I have a quart soda bottle with a small pot stone that caused the glass to bruise around it on the surface. I knocked the bruise out and filled it with glue. I was wondering if the weight of the copper from tumbling will cause the bottle to crack were the pot stone is?

If there is a way to dissolve the pot stone might try that.

I scratched away most of the pot stone with a carbide pick I made from a broken 1/8 drill. Worked pretty well. I tumbled the inside of the bottle and it did not crack. Figure I will post this in case it helps anyone else out with a smiler problem.
