Pulling the cork out the genie bottle today...

I am finished wishing for bottles (for now lmao!)

I do wish for the following...by trade or purchase..

1) NOS Single Dot US Pepsi paper body and neck label, circa 1951-52
2) NOS Double Dot US Pepsi paper body label circa 1942-50
3) Lets not forget that 6 cent Kik bottle cap!

Thank you in advance El-Khadir! ;)

Happy hunting. I find the hunt is often better than the find. First and foremost, the collectibles are just stuff. The real treasure is often the folks in our hobby. I think I may have an older embossed Pepsi bottle with a fake label on it. I will see if I can find it in my one of my piles. :)

Never a truer word spoken! Like in the real world, this virtual collecting world is full of kind hearts!
My wife asked me suspiciously if I was getting any more bottles! I told her with all honesty...not
right now, I'm looking for labels! Post your pic and I'll try to help. Remember that I got fooled just
recently so I may not be of much help. (But boy did I learn a lot about fake labels)

Wish Day 1...just for fun searched Pepsi paper labels...tons and tons
I narrowed the search to new listings...my eyes bugged out...
there it was...their rating was 90% but that was over 12 months ago
and they have only sold about 10 items...100% in the last 12 months.
not perfect but inside my $100 price limit...and clearly not a repro...
this will suffice!

The weird thing where is that all of my bottles from the last month or so have
been from Baltimore...

1) Single Dot US Pepsi paper body and neck label, circa 1951-52, Baltimore
2) Chero-Cola straight side, C. Edward May, Baltimore
3) 1952 PAT 41 bottle, the other bottler using 1951 labels LGW, for Baltimore, NOT Detroit plant
4) 1930s 12 oz Script bottle, clear NOT aqua. Baltimore again?

Now I had wished for NOS labels...have I not learned my lesson about NOS
and the fakes out there?

Moses asked the Djihn El-Khadir for a boat to take him across the river to find treasure hidden under the gates of a king. When he was showed a boat full of holes, he demanded a new one. They were all in the water and not available. The kings soldiers then commandeered all the new boats and left his alone because it was old, full of holes and leaking. He made it safely to the other side of the river, unmolested by the king's guards.

1) NOS Single Dot US Pepsi paper body and neck label, circa 1951-52...done! Original is better than NOS anytime! The bottle is from 1957, but I would have to guess the labels were circa 1951-1952.
2) NOS Double Dot US Pepsi paper body label circa 1942-50...let's forget the NOS thanks. No more bottles tho... I don't have any empty spaces and as they say, 12 is enough!
3) Lets not forget that 6 cent Kik bottle cap!
