Coca-Cola bootleg bottles, the leader of them all. No one will ever know how many there are...I've seen hundreds both in person and in pictures. Employees might make a few for a wedding, anniversary, the list goes on and on. As few as 1-2 or even a case might be made.

There's a bit of uncertainty whether this bottle, made for Kentucky's '74-'76 Celebrations if it was a bootleg or rather a prototype bottle. This bottle was often talked about but very few had ever actually seen one. I was lucky to have run across a few recently. Pictured is the regular issue bottle along with three of the other bottles, they all have some sort of variation on them. I also managed to pickup several of the St. Louis Arch Bicentennial bottles. Most collectors agree it was a prototype that was never issued, and supposedly only 144 were made by the Obear-Nester Glass Company in East St. Louis, Illinois.

All the extra bottles have been spoken for and I have none for sale or trade at this time.

The regular issue Kentucky bottle, over one million were made and I still see them in quantity a lot.

I heard them referred to third shift bottle or end of run bottles. The third shift bottle would be someone playing in the glass factory. The end of run would switching from one color bottle to another. I have collecting the Pepsi ones for several years.

Doing a search in Worthpoint for green Pepsi Bottle about 9,000 came up. after only searching the first 20 pages I seen a couple in 16 oz & 10 oz but no 12 oz exactly like this one. the 16 oz'er seemed more common. Anyways I got over $100 for this green Pepsi on ebay.
